Summer 2025
By the time you read this, you are maybe thinking of unhooking the planter but that doesn't mean you should quit thinking about it. Now is the PERFECT time to get it ready for 2026. We are always trying to make the next season better so here are a few considerations that would help us help you in #plant2026.If you intend on doing any maintenance work on your planter, please order parts or contact us before February. If you want us to do the maintenance work, we need to have it on our calendar before Feb 1.
- If you buy a planter that has Precision Planting components on it, PLEASE come talk to us about them BEFORE spring. We can be more efficient with our service calls in season if both of us are familiar with your new planter before it is time to roll.
- Every March we do a free monitor training. If you are brand new to a PP monitor, it is ESSENTIAL that you attend. We can give you more information and attention in training in March than we can in the heat of the season. This is also a good time to discuss in field issues with your monitor you have had. If you call with basic monitor questions during “go time” and we are out on a planter down call, we may not be able to help you. ASK THOSE QUESTIONS IN MARCH!!!! It will only benefit you and us.
- Meter and vApply testing: We have summer, fall and winter to test these items so please schedule them during that time. Fees for testing will go up considerably for both if they are brought in after March 1 and we will absolutely not accept them after April 1.
- FREE planter inspections: We offer free planter inspections so call and get one scheduled now. We are able to answer your questions and visit about your planter more thoroughly in the summer or fall rather than in the spring time. If you ask us to do an inspection soon, it will only benefit you in the long run. You do NOT need to have Precision Planting components for a free inspection. It makes things so much nicer for both of us when we can do these when we are all NOT in a rush.
- If you do have Precision Planting on your planter, check over what you have on hand for service parts. Sometimes having a few basic items on your shelf at home can save you a lot of hassle during “go time”. Visit with us before spring and we can help get you stocked up and we can order parts you might need in a timely manner.
- If you have parts to return, you need to do that within 60 days of purchase from us. We also charge a restocking fee for any special order parts that you decide to return.
