   Corn, Wheat Start Higher, Forecast Sees Slight Shift

   December corn is up 2 cents, November soybeans are down 8 cents and
September KC wheat is up 3 cents.

   Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: December corn is up 2 cents, November soybeans are
down 8 cents and September KC wheat is up 3 cents.

   CME Globex Recap: Early Thursday, Dow Jones futures are starting a little
higher, in line with Europe's markets. Concerns about rising cases of the
coronavirus delta variant are running high and Wednesday's report of 330,000
new U.S. private sector jobs from ADP was disappointing ahead of Friday's
unemployment report. Along with weekly export sales, weekly U.S. jobless claims
and trade deficit data for June are due out at 7:30 a.m. CDT.

   OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 323.73 at 34,792.67 and the S&P 500 down 20.49 at 4,402.66 as the
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 1.18%. Early Thursday, September Dow Jones
futures are trading up 48 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei
225 index up 0.52% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.31%. European
markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up
0.20%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.26% and spot futures of
France's CAC Index trading up 0.54%. The September euro is down $0.0005 at
$1.1843. The September U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.01 at 92.27. The September
30-year T-bond is down 6/32nds, while December gold is down $2.00 at $1,812.50
and September crude oil is up $0.64 at $68.79. On China's Dalian exchange,
September corn was up 0.7%, September soybeans were up 0.7%, September soybean
meal was down 0.3% and September soybean oil was up 2.0%. September common
wheat on China's Zhengzhou exchange was unchanged. September Malaysian palm oil
is trading down 1.7%.
